A 24 room hotel building, designed in traditional north shore Long Island shingle style. The informal style is characterized by more fluid asymmetrical forms, with shingles unifying the design. The building responds to both its sloping site and prominent Main Street location, with articulation and variety along all facades, to keep its scale and proportion consistent with its context.
Family Service League Health and Wellness Center - Bay Shore
The health and wellness center will be a bright, airy, welcoming space with a calming atmosphere. Medical services will include internal medicine an pediatrics. Future plans provide for the addition of specialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and pulmonary medicine.
The Waterfront Center
In the very early stage of schematic design, this new facility in Bayville will provide The Waterfront Center with a new home for community gathering space, classrooms, close proximity to a convenient boat launch and dock area, administrative offices and storage areas — all of which will support and extend their vision of encouraging environmentally sound recreation that is safe, fun and accessible by people of all ages.
Glass Retail Building
New multi-tenant retail building, designed to sit atop a tapered plinth foundation, at the peak of a sloping site. The glass facade is meant to allow the overhanging roof to appear weightless.
Huntington Village Mixed Use
Sited just outside of the village commercial corridor, this new mixed-use building was designed to fit within the existing character of the surrounding neighborhood buildings.
